Meditation Immersion

Meditation Immersion

Take the Plunge!

Do you want to learn to meditate or want to re-ignite your existing practice– that’s why we developed the Meditation Immersion Program! There are many levels to participate in the immersion program, from a week-long retreat to evenings after work, it’s a flexible program that gives you the opportunity to begin a powerful meditation practice.

How it works:  7 times a year we teach people how to become yoga teachers here at Konalani. During the first week of the each training we cover the foundations of developing a strong meditation practice, and that’s where you come in. The Meditation Immersion program welcomes you to participate in the philosophy and meditation portion of that first week, which takes place in the evenings from Tuesday to Saturday. Topics such as “Why Meditate,” “Finding a Seat,” and “Mantra Meditation,” will be covered, as well as ancient practices like the Vedic Fire Ceremony and Satsang (Questions and Answers with an Acharya or Swami).

All meditation sessions are guided by advanced practitioners, and there is also time to discuss your practice and experiences with the teacher.

To go even deeper into the experience, you are even welcome to stay at the Ashram and make it a personal retreat. There is even the opportunity to participate in the Yoga workshops of the first week. 3 meals a day can be provided as well. It’s up to you, we’re flexible!

When is it? The Meditation Immersion takes place during the first week of every teacher training. To see those dates, click here.

How much is it? $108 covers 5 philosophy classes as well as 5 guided meditations, and a sacred arts and crafts workshop.
